Over the years this site has taken different shapes, and sizes. I think I'm settling down to a look and feel I can vibe with, at least for the next few months. Some say that having a personal website is rather self-indulgent, or even narcissistic, if you will; however, I disagree :) This space serves mainly to tell a bit about me, what I do, what I've done, and where I'm going, for those who are interested in knowing. I wanna give recognition to those people, groups, and places in my life that have impacted me, so maybe they can impact you as well.

As relief efforts in New Orleans continues day in, and day out, help is still needed from so many ends. The news images have showed us the amount of suffering; lives flipped upside down.... we can definitly help.
A friend of mine told me that sometimes donating money is the best way to go in a situation like this. To donate food or clothing will cost that much more than purchasing the supplies down there.

So, I was sitting in the car with Mena today, driving to get some Colombian food on Old Country Road in Westbury,
when he pointed out the fire-station being built. And I wondered, what would make him point out the fire
station so randomly like that. I was concerned, until I remembered, he used to be a volunteer firefighter.
I immediately told him that he indeed was an interesting guy that needed to be recognized, so stay tuned: the Mena Mes-ha dedication page is coming soon!
I know, I know, why does MENA get a page, and you, Mr. and/or Mrs. Fulan, do not. I had to start somewhere, and Mena happened to mention the fire-station.
I mean wouldn't you do the same thing?
